The weird 2020 Biden "win" is abnormal for presidential elections. Biden lost 3 predictive bellwether states. He also got 12 million more votes than Obama, while winning half as many counties.
An explanation: Key battleground states were flooded with millions of illegal "votes". Especially in inner cities like Atlanta and Detroit.
The 2020 election was the first in US history to ignore chain-of-custody methods by mass mailing ballots. It appears to have been a disaster with One-in-Five Mail-In Voters Admit They Cheated in 2020 Election.
These are only the voters who admitted their cheating. There could have been even more than the 20% who actually cheated.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton explains how Democrats stole the election in 2020 when they stopped counting votes on election night.
Vote counting stopped in toss up states so Democrats knew how many mail in ballots they needed to win.
“They needed to figure out how many real votes there were so they could figure out how many mail-in ballots to apply to the election.”
This would explain how Trump won 80% of historically determinative bellwether counties yet lost the election.
There are multiple methods that can be used to cheat in elections, and steal them (the loser steals the win from the lawful victor) if the cheating is massive enough.
Two main groupings of election cheating:

2. Election workers alter or “cure” ballots
Fraudulent or Counterfeit Ballots are cast and counted Examples from Elections
1. Ballots are cast for non-existant people (on voting rolls)
2. People do not vote, but have ballots cast by others in their name. This happens often with new immigrants - legal or illegal.
3. Ballots are cast/counted that cannot be linked to any voter on the rolls
4. People not eligible to vote (non-citizen, underage, moved away) cast a ballot
An illegal alien or other non-citizen can register (or be registered) to vote in federal elections, just by checking a box and signing a form. No proof of citizenship is required. Voter Rolls
It appears that the voter rolls may have been manipulated to mimic census data. This would allow counterfeit ballots to be produced with results appearing to be demographically normal with cursory inspection. Link
Some states have given volunteers (activists) access to state electronic voter rolls. Allowing them to make changes in the sole database that determines who can or cannot vote. Link

Minnesota, a lean-Democrat state, runs elections that are wide open for fraud and election cheating.
Didn't the courts debunk election cheating? In the aftermath of the shoddily run 2020 elections, many lawsuits were filed. The Courts refused to hear most of them, ignoring any evidence that may have been presented, and failing to correct any discovered errors. Link
