It is the duty of every citizen to vote in American Elections
It is the duty of representatives and citizens to insure elections are secure and fair with precautions to prevent cheating.
While Christians may vote for the candidate of their choice, for any reason, it would be wise to vote in a manner that accomplishes God's Will. Vote for God's Side.

"My concern is not whether God is on our side; my greatest concern is to be on God's side, for God is always right." - President Abraham Lincoln:
Lincoln led the nation through the Civil War. A war to abolish slavery in America.
Most will agree that "God's Side" was the abolishment of forced slavery. (Forced slavery is against Biblical teaching.) Yet many citizens voted for politicians who campaigned to keep slavery legal.
Thus citizens who voted for pro-slavery politicians prior to the war were not on God's side.
It is possible that the Civil War could have been avoided if more citizens had followed God's Teaching and chosen to be on God's Side leading up to the outbreak of the war.

So what is a Christian to do?
Vote in elections for those candidates that are most on God's Side.
It is usually the Republican that is on Gods Side (more than the Democrat)
with respect to many issues.
In recent decades, the national Democrat Party has adopted positions that are NOT God-pleasing. Democrats campaign on:
the "right" to kill a baby in the womb, (including subsidizing abortion with tax dollars)
the "right" for boys to put on dresses and enter girls' restrooms/locker-rooms,
the right for same-sex couples to "marry".
(There may be a few elected Democrats who reject these un-Godly positions, but they would be under heavy pressure to "back the party line" when voting.
Nationally elected Republicans generally oppose these anti-biblical positions, but many of them are not very willing to use political capital limit them.
A major problem the nation faces today is that most elected leaders seek power or money from office rather than following God's Will of freedom for the citizens.
Most Democrats seek power; Most Republicans seek money.
Democrat leftists seek power, seek control of your life, and they are open in their stupid arguments to get there (global cooling, global warming, global climate change). When they start to lose, they turn violent. This is their history.
The Establishment Republicans (many years in DC) priority is money. As a result, their approaches, goals, objectives and arguments can be purchased. Their primary objective is getting money, and growing their wealth.
Peter Bernegger is alleging (and suing) that many Republican and Democrat elected officials are illegally "smurfing" contributions into their campaigns through WinRed and ActBlue. Smurfing is stealing someone's identity to donate massive sums of money in their name.
